Template, Papers, Frames, Ribbons And Strings

Whew, it's been tough but I finally got it re-done! First I'm showing the Ribbon Wreath that I added the bevel on, then I'm sharing the templates for it, and more graphics from the "A Vintage Christmas" kit.  My preview pic of the beveled wreath below is plain, no embellishments, I only added papers (same ones by Sheila Reid of DigiTee Designs), so you can compare with the previous photo and see the difference the bevel makes.

Download new Beveled Ribbon Wreath here.

Download flat Regular Ribbon Wreath here.

You can download both ribbon wreath templates, the flat (previous photo) and the new beveled one. If you download and play around with the file, please contact me if you encounter any problems so I can get it fixed. I really need someone to help QC - quality check my files, LOL! Maybe I'm yet to meet that person - new friend? 😀  I've also yet to try the wreath with a photo in the center, just to see how that looks. If you play around with either of those files I'd LOVE to see what you've done, so please share with me? Please note my Ribbon Wreath template is for PU - personal use at least until I can get a QC from someone on it. Then I'll probably change it to CU - commercial use.

Ok, now on with the files from A Vintage Christmas kit. As mentioned, I have a 12 pk of papers to share with you today,  a 9 pk of frames, and some ribbons and string.  I'm trying to post at least 3 package files per day till I get them all listed, so keep watch for lots more from this kit. I hope this helps someone get caught-up with your holiday scrapping. 😉

Maybe I can double up on these files tomorrow? We'll see. Have fun scrappin!

Spring Ribbon Wreath Template

I've been busy today working on my new ribbon wreath template. Almost finished as soon as I can get the bevel on the wreath, then I'll share the template with you. 😉  This ribbon wreath has lots of layers so you can fill each ribbon with a different pattern or pre-made paper design. To be able to show you my wreath template and what I have so far, I used a scrap kit by Sheila Reid called "Life In Full Bloom" and it's perfect for this. I love her work and that kit has lots of papers in it which was perfect for my ribbon wreath, plus I love all the Spring colors! I'm not affiliated with her in any way, just admire her work. And if you'd like to look at the kit and/or her work, go to DigiTee Designs. Also, you might want to check out Pixel Scrapper (link in my right side menu) as there's lots of talent there and Sheila shares her work there as well.

With that said (and so you know where to get the kit if you like), please keep in mind this is a rough draft of my wreath and it still needs work. I'll also show another filled sample when it's ready for sharing.

As you can see I've added a frame with photo and other embellishments to the wreath, but you could also place the photo inside of the wreath and then add embellishments around it as desired. I think it's turned out pretty neat so far, what do you think?

Also, I promised I'd post some files to my kit, A Vintage Christmas. It's my hope that maybe those who are still trying to find time and resources to finish up their holiday photos will find some use for it? I'll start off with some clusters and elements (embellishments)...

LB Designs and Free Digital Scrapbooking Graphics

Hello, and welcome to my new blog, LB Designs. Here I'll be sharing my free digital scrap-booking creations, a few everyday life giggles, and I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with other fellow scrappers/designers.

I'm fairly new to the scrap-booking world...only started a couple year ago, but I'm totally fascinated with the fun graphics and designs! To be honest, I had been placing my photos in plain boring albums and/or saving on cd's, LOL! I never really gave them much thought till I started looking for a better way to preserve photos and noticed how neat scrap-booking was. Shortly after discovering the fun of scrapping I had some serious health issues that set me back, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things again for a some-what normal life. After the first of this year I saw where others were still trying to get all the holiday photos scrapped, so to occupy my time I started creating "A Vintage Christmas" kit. One idea led to another and I ended up with 24 folders for that one kit! I truly was aiming for a mini kit...I get carried away sometimes, LOL!

Enough of all that...I'll be posting folders to this kit to download, maybe 3 or more a day? I hope someone can find some use for them. With this introductory post, I'll show you my first cluster every made (giggles), that is from the kit. I'm calling it "A Vintage Christmas" cause it is full of the old vintage Christmas colors of rich reds, greens, and cream colors. This is one of eight clusters (plus 7 mini cluster) in the kit....

I do hope you'll follow along with me as I learn, create, and share. I'll start those folders with my next post, keep watch for them!
